The mission of the Community Garden Charitable Fund, a Florida not-for-profit organization founded in 2007, is to protect and preserve our green spaces, particularly those at historic Pinecrest Gardens. The Garden is alive with opportunities for discovery- historic, botanical, and educational. Our goal is to help preserve the integrity of the landscape, thoughtfully guide its evolution, and to share it with the public. As the world around us becomes ever more developed, our gardens offer the beauty and serenity of unspoiled nature. Pinecrest Gardens is a 14 acre preserve located in Pinecrest. Through the support of the community the Garden Fund raises money that is used to target specific botanical improvement projects in Pinecrest Gardens. Involvement in the Garden Fund is open to all who believe that the conservation of nature and history are vital to the improvement and preservation of our communities. We invite all who share our vision to join us in our mission to protect the past and celebrate the rediscovery of historic Pinecrest Gardens.
