James Lawrence was a landscape designer, businessman, and friend of the Garden Fund who passed away in March of 2013. He was the guiding force behind several of the Fund’s projects in Pinecrest Gardens, and through his artistic eye and extensive knowledge of local flora he created a powerful visual display in everything botanical that he devised. The Caribbean Hammock is a beautiful garden that Jim designed and the Garden Fund underwrote, and it is dedicated in gratitude to his memory.
